To ensure the highest standards of official conduct while supporting a culture of good government for the state of South Carolina, the Code of Conduct course was developed to provide the public with greater confidence that their government is serving them responsibly and effectively.
The state of South Carolina offers an online Code of Conduct course that outlines the state’s expectations regarding employees’ behavior towards their colleagues, supervisors and organization overall.

- Module 4: Financial Disclosures and Use of State Property
- Module 5: Confidentially and Nondiscriminatory Work Environment
- Module 6: Post-Employment Restrictions, Reporting Wrongdoing and Whistleblower Protections
The state of South Carolina will not tolerate discrimination or harassment based on race, sex, age, color, national origin, disability or one’s protected activity in the work place. Federal and state laws also make these types of discrimination and harassment illegal.
The courses below are designed to provide information and guidance regarding telecommuting. These courses are designed to build upon each other. Telecommuting employees should take the Successful Telecommuting for Employees course, supervisors should take both the Successful Telecommuting for Employees and Successful Telecommuting for Supervisors courses, and telecommuting coordinators should take all three courses.
